Q: Who is this DNS Hosting package for and why would I need it?
A: The DNS Hosting package is mainly for web hosts, web designers, and companies with multiple websites and in-house mail servers. It gives you complete control over individual domain name A, CNAME and MX Records.
Q: I see that the DNS Hosting Package comes with 5 domains. Can I host 5 websites on this account?
A: No. The DNS Hosting Package is for DNS only. No website files like HTML pages and images can be uploaded to a web server using this hosting package.
Q: I'm still not sure if this DNS Hosting package is what I need. Can you give a couple of examples on how it could be used?
A1: You're a web designer who would like your own cuastom nameservers to be listed in the NIC record of your sites instead of your host's. An example of this might be ns1.YourOwnCompanyDomainName.com and ns2.YourOwnCompanyDomainName.com instead of ns1.YourHostsSiteName.com and ns1.YourHostsSiteName.com.
A2: You're a company and you need to point the MX record for one of your company's domain names to your on-site Exchange mail server while pointing the actual website to another web server. You also run other web servers and you need to be able to set up additional A records to point a subdomain name to these servers.
Q: I see that the DNS Hosting package comes with 5 domain names and that I can add as many additional domains to the account as I want for an additional $.50 per month each. I have 15 domains that I want to use with this package but I can't find out how to sign up for 15 domains.
A: Once you sign up for the standard DNS package, you'll be able to add additional domains to your account through your Control Panel.
Q: I know the DNS hosting package is only $5 per month with the included 5 domain names but can I sign up for a year and get an even better rate like your regular web hosting packages?
A: No. The DNS package is only available with a monthly billing schedule due to its ability to add or subtract domains at any time 24/7.
Q: I'm still not sure if I need this DNS Hosting package. How will I know for sure?

DNS Hosting Account Signup Confirmation Email - Please Read!
The confirmation email that you will recieve after signup is our standard web hosting confirmation email that will include the usual FTP login and other information that does not apply to the DNS Hosting Account. Disregard all info in the confirmation email except your Control Panel login and password. You Control Panel login and password is all that is needed to access your DNS Hosting account.
